Devon Wesley of Devlabs just returned from Panama City, Panama where he was working with Tutorez, a software startup that connects students to tutors.

La Prensa de Panamá, Panama’s largest newspaper, wrote an article about Tutorez and the platform that Devon helped them to build.

Check out this video that the Tutorez team recorded of Devon during his stay:

During his three weeks in Panama, Devon finished building out the front end of the new platform Tutorez is selling in the US market.  Devon used AngularJS and worked with the backend and design teams.  The US product is to schedule and track data for tutoring companies.

“We set an aggressive timeline to build out the new platform,” said Devon, “and we reached our goal because we knew the sales team had clients waiting to use the new tools.”

“Devon laid the ground work for the public tutor profiles and the catalog of tutors; both of which, are very essential customer facing features,” said Sheldon Trotman, who is the lead for front-end developers. "Today we launched Tutorez version 2.0 featuring: a revolutionary smart booking system, an on-site messaging platform and a beautiful new design."

“Panama is beautiful and it was exciting to meet other software entrepreneurs and to see how they do things there,” said Devon. “I came home feeling more inspired and motivated than ever.”
